About the founder
John has spent his career honing expertise where mechanical, electronics & software converge — under pressure, underwater & occasionally on fire.
He started building in kindergarten & never stopped, narrowly avoiding blowing up his parents' kitchen as a child cooking rocket fuel.
Over 3 decades of tinkering later, he has a Bachelor of Mechanical & Space Engineering, P.Eng registration, peer-reviewed papers & conference talks, a pilot's license, a US patent & 15 years professional experience in multiple industries across 3 continents.
